This policy covers nativoworks.studio, operated by Oscar Morales Lorenzo, doing business as NativoWorks Studio. We are the data controller for personal data collected through the site. Contact: hello@nativoworks.studio. We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer because we do not process personal data at a scale that requires one.
Only what you give us.
Book form. Your email address and one line about your role and market, when you ask for the book.
Trial form. Your name, email, optional market and role, and the answers you write, when you send back a trial page.
Email you send us. Whatever you include.
Technical data. Our hosting provider, Netlify, keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and operations. We do not use cookies, analytics or tracking technologies. If that changes, this policy will be updated first and, where the law requires, your consent will be asked.
To send you the book and the short email series that follows it; to read trial submissions and, if you allowed it, quote or summarise them in future work; to reply when you write to us; and to keep the site running securely. We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties for their marketing. We do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
Kit (ConvertKit), United States: stores your email address, role/market line and subscription status, and sends our emails. Privacy: kit.com/privacy.
Netlify, United States: hosts the site, keeps server logs, and stores trial-form submissions. Privacy: netlify.com/privacy.
Both act under data-processing terms and may not use your data for their own purposes.
Consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) for the book emails and for quoting trial submissions, which you can withdraw at any time; legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) for server logs and site security and for keeping a record of trial submissions you sent us.
Wherever you are, you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, receive a copy in a portable format, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent. To unsubscribe, use the link in any email. For anything else, write to hello@nativoworks.studio with the subject "Privacy request". We acknowledge within 5 business days and answer within 30 days. Residents of California, Colorado and other US states with privacy laws have the rights those laws provide; we do not sell personal information and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Email data: for as long as you are subscribed; removed from active lists within 30 days of unsubscribing, with backups purged within 90 days. We may keep your address and the date you unsubscribed for up to 12 months to document the withdrawal of consent. Trial submissions: kept while they are useful to the lab's work, and deleted on request unless already quoted in published work with your permission.
We use commercially reasonable measures and providers that encrypt data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
If a breach affecting your personal data is likely to put your rights at risk, we will notify the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours where the law requires it, and notify you without undue delay where the risk is high.
Your data is processed in the United States. For EEA and UK users this relies on the Standard Contractual Clauses maintained by our providers.
If you are in the EEA or UK and believe we have broken data-protection law, you may complain to your local supervisory authority (edpb.europa.eu; in the UK, ico.org.uk).
The site is not directed at anyone under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If we learn we have, we delete it.
We may update this policy. Changes take effect when posted; material changes will be emailed to active subscribers where possible. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
